OpenAI launches text-to-video tool Sora

OpenAI launched its much-anticipated text-to-video generator Monday after a limited release earlier this year.
The new tool, dubbed Sora, transforms user prompts into short AI-generated video clips. Users can also tweak their generated video with additional prompts after the initial creation.

Sora’s launch was preceded by a wave of reviews from tech influencers who detailed the new bot’s abilities. OpenAI announced Sora in February but only gave access to the technology to a select few reviewers and influencers.
