Nancy Mace Blasts “Squad” Drama Queens

Rep. Nancy Mace (R‑SC) slammed members of the “Squad” for their outcry on the House floor Friday over a vote to oust Rep. Ilhan Omar (D‑MN) from the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
During a fiery House floor speech, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D‑NY) tore into Republicans, accusing them of exhibiting “racism against Muslim Americans.” In response, Mace shrugged off the Squad as a bunch of “drama queens.” She initially opposed the resolution to boot Omar but reversed course at the last minute and backed the move to eject Omar on the basis of her alleged antisemitism.

“I would say that was complete drama queens on full display. And there’s no surprise there that they would use racism as an excuse. They weren’t there two years ago when Marjorie Taylor Greene and Paul Gosar were being kicked off. They weren’t using that as an excuse. And it’s really unbelievable. But it’s very typical of the Squad to see that kind of behavior on the floor,” Mace told Fox News.
