ROILS: Harry and Meghan want summit and apology…
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly want the Royal family to apologise to them before they attend the King’s coronation. New reports claim that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are demanding a ‘sit-down meeting’ with senior members of the Royal Family in the wake of the release of their explosive Netflix documentary. The Sussexes are said to want The Firm to ‘take responsibility’ for the pain and damage they put the couple through. The Times reported that a source close to the self-exiled royal couple want the meeting to take place before they attend King Charles’ coronation in May. Harry and Meghan want the face-to-face meeting to address the claims they raised in their £88million Netflix series.

The outlet reports that the couple were particularly incensed that the Palace facilitated a warm reconciliation meeting between black charity boss Ngozi Fulani, and Lady Susan Hussey, a former lady-in-waiting after a race row. Harry and Meghan reportedly see this meeting, where Hussey offered her ‘sincere apologies’, as a ‘double standard’ as no such efforts have been made for them. It was also suggested that they were upset by the lack of a response from the Palace to their numerous allegations that they laid out over the six-episode documentary.
